Our school will be holding a conference of workshops explaining many of the wonderful things we do at Stark, and sharing how parents and families can become involved in helping our children become the best students they can be! Called Navigating Stark School, it is modeled on other workshops given periodically by the Stamford district or individual schools in Stamford.
We want you as parents to become partners with us, in order to make the most of your Stark School experiences. Come join our Stark family, as we prepare your child to succeed in the world. We have many ways that you can help us, and we can help you. Let us tell you about these great opportunities!
I will be talking about Everyday Mathematics, the mathematics curriculum mandated by the State of Connecticut, and briefly dicuss Connecticut's joining Common Core and the Smarter Balance States.
