Geometer Sketch Pad, for FREE! Hooray!

Hi Everybody!

Here's a new link I found! A free version of Geometer Sketch Pad (GSP)!  GSP has the power to be one of the most creative tools for instruction today!  Mostly because kids are free to do anything they want.  A digital sketchpad, if you will, with the mathematics tools to make amazing math happen (with the right direction and perserverance on the part of a child).

Many tools are disabled, like saving your work, but for a novice just trying it out, it's great!

Enjoy it!

Thank you to McGraw Hill for this wonderful introduction!

I may very well have posted this website before, but I love his classroom resources, like the lunch count chart and the calmness counter!  Also, his spelling apps seem neat, my daughters will be trying them at home.

It is an English site, but they have been using Interactive Whiteboard technology for a few years. Mr. Barrett has also been doing this about as long as I have, so I like noticing his growth and progress over the years...

Thank you, Mr. Barrett.

Sincerely,
